Salsa Diva took part at the 2nd Balkan Salsa Congress, held on 24-26 of October at the famous Bulgarian resort "Borovetz". Salsa Diva Team performed its new show "Las aves" for the 1st time at the congress. Nasko&Vania made a Cha-Cha-Cha workshop during the congress' workshops sessions.

 On 13th of September SALSA DIVA took part in the feast of Sofia city with a hot Latin Fiesta in front of National Palace of Culture, organized with the kind support of Municipality of Sofia.

SALSA DIVA took part in the unique for Europe 3-days LATINO FIESTA with the stars of the Latin music - Croma Latina, Toke de Keda,Valentino, Mauro Catalini, which was held in the town of Haskovo, from 08th to 10th of September,2008.

Nasko and Vania made an open workshop and awarded diplomas to the participants in the Summer Art Academy in Dimitrovgrad for a completed course in Latin dances to SALSA DIVA Dance School. 350 children and young people participated in the project, which is aimed to search, find and develop young talents. The academy was opened on the 10th of August, 2008, as in direction Latin Dances the participants were most numerous. The course includes 30 school hours basic steps  of salsa, merengue, bachata and cha-cha-cha and dance combinations in Rueda de Casino. The course was led by Katia Dermendjieva, who is leading the branch in Haskovo of Salsa Diva Dance School since 2 years

 

August 2008
On 15th of August, 2008, it was held an Art Meeting of the virtual Bulgarian magazine Public Republic, which was established in Hamburg and had become an art-circle for many of our compatriots in Bulgaria and abroad. Nasko and Vania were invited and performed 2 shows at the presenting of the site for creative work of the Bulgarian artists from all over the world, and they were the  key of the program. The audience was pleased to see also the performance of the  vice-champion in salsa-Lady Style in Bulgaria for 2008 - Lina Atanasova. Guests were famous cultural figures, artists, poets, writers, composers, musicians... The event was broadcasted on all Bulgarian medias - incl. newspaper "Monitor", newspaper "Sega", on BBT television, Nova tv , etc.

SALSA DIVA are invited and will teach Cha-Cha-Cha workshop  during the  4^th BG FANTA SALSA FESTIVAL, which will be held on 02-04 of May, 2008 in Sofia, together with world famous names such as Yamulee, Adolfo & Melissa, Hacha  y Machete, Swing Latino, Salsa Dance Squad, etc.

(26. 06. 2007) SALSA DIVA took part in the charity event, organized by  the Spanish High School "Miguel De Cervantes". The dance team performed a special choreography and tought a free lesson for the occasion of the International Anti Drugs Day.

(15.06.07) Nasko is back from his next participation at an international stage, He was invited in Dubai  to perform in  the show, organized by SAMSUNG, presenting the newest telephone version of SAMSUNG - ULTRA. In the show  also took part the world famous violin player Vanessa May.

PLOVDIV SALSA OPEN 2007

                                      

On 10th of February,2007  PLOVDIV SALSA OPEN 2007 was held - part of the national chain BULGARIA SALSA OPEN 2007.  

Lina and Vangel had an excellent performance. They won 4-th place in the amateur division and well-deserved  great applauses and sympathy of the audience with the shown artistism, style and clean execution of their choreography.
